What is the worst bike that you own?

That frame of yours looks a lot like the I got from my friend. He found it at a junkyard.

It's a 1983 Romet Wagant - a really cheap and poorly made Polish tourist bike. They made literally hundred thousands of them, and they're worth absolutely nothing since they were totally poorly made with the absolutely cheapest parts.

Had a one like that 17 years ago (even the color was the same) and it was kinda of a Hate-Love relationship. I remember that everything, even new parts broke with ease.

This one went a little bit further - and I love it for that.

3/4 of the parts was thrown away and it was converted to a fully working Gravel bike. The original 27" wheels are replaced with 28" ones with racing hubs from Romet Super bicycle. Crankset, brake handles & steering bar came from a Romet Mistral. Front derailleur was made by Romet in the 70's (this one's new), and the rear deraillreur is a Shimano 105.

Cheap bike, but cool mods. I think us Americans still have the cheapest road bikes in the world. Such as this.

They look a lot like all cheap Romet Bicycles from 70's-80's like Orkan, Mistral, Pasat, Sprint & Sport. A lot of those had Czechoslovakian parts from the Favorit brand or the cheapest possible Shimano parts (and actually those were the "elite" ones, most of them had Romet parts that were only good for throwing to the garbage straight after you bought it).

I call it the Abomination because it is a mix of few bikes. It is a bunch of parts, it has an SS hub and that front wheel wouldn't work with a (caliper) front brake because the rim is ribbed. It is as simple as it gets, the left seastays have two odd holes in them and the other front wheel I installed has a wobbly axle. The seat is screeching as your granma's rocking chair and the bars have that funny angle that makes my wrists hurt. On this pic it has a "threaded to ahead" stem adapter, but it is running a regular threaded stem now.
It is purpose-built and its only purpose is to be left outside unattended if needed (like at the train station).
I kinda like how it rides though, it is fairly light and it lives in the cellar so it is my first choice when I go get groceries. I prefer much more upright riding position so this one took some geting used to, it was quite scary the first few times. Also it is quite high (635mm rear wheel and 622mm front) and I am 174cm with relatively short limbs, so every time I stop dismounting needs some careful planning so I don't crush my junk.

This guy has over 50 brand new conditioned Italian racing bikes. This Specialized is too nice to be a beater.

Yeah... and his daily driver beater car is probably a BMW. I wish I had the money I could claim a 600 dollar bike is a beater. For some of us that would be the weekend warrior.

My cheap fat tire bike.
- It will roll through very deep sand on the beach and I get a lot of compliments, but...
- It is just too heavy to enjoy on the street or hilly trail.
- The brake cables become stuck in the coastal salt air (and the fat bike is always garaged). I have to dismount to release the brakes after each application.
- If you ride a lot on the coast, buy a bike that does not depend on cables. That limits you to a single speed coaster or 2 speed kick back bike.

Cyclops, a 1961 Columbia Firebolt. It shakes, it's fairly heavy, way too small for me, and I can't get rid of it because it has a single disc brake in the rear with two aluminum spacers for the rotor and I don't trust that enough to let anyone else have it in case it fails, but it's also not worth the money to add a front brake. It works great, but I can't assume its longterm durability.

the men’s spaceliner, most original and most expensive bike I own and it rides like garbage. Will likely grind out the fork too hold a modern wheel set this summer. Rideable>original

This one was the biggest disappointment. Went from...this could be really cool -to- this kinda sucks ...in one ride.

My Torch had the bars that high and it was awful to ride. I rode it home like that after I got it. I removed them and installed clip ons.

The Scythe is adjustable...I tried them in various positions. This is the first 'pedal forward' bike I've rode any distance, and it may be the last. I've kept it around because I'd like to give it a shot with a 7/8 speed igh (currently single speed)...but, igh hubs are inherently draggy, so I don't really hold out much hope that the change will make much of a difference. The big issue is that it turns out I rely a lot on standing on the pedals when riding and on pedal forward bikes...that isn't really possible.
