well, I listen to a lot of different bands, and I could sit and write out some huge list of bands.... but I really listen to one type of music when im in the garage, rock and roll. (I know thats a really generalized term, but im no good at labels)

some of my favorites for the garage is stuff like MC5, The Panthers, The Clash, Doomriders, Judas Priest, and some Arab on Radar... and sometimes a little Arcade Fire, which isn't quite as 'rockin'

These guys are from Louisiana and they use mostly vintage instruments that they rig up themselves. Nothing like a good old keytar...ha ha!

The drummer for this band is top notch.
