I need to adjust it more because I didn't really know how to do that at first.

So would it look out of place or odd if I had rim brakes up front?

Depending on what you used, I don't think so, but you might have trouble mounting them on that fork. I think with the disk in the rear, you should have pretty decent stopping power. It may equate to an unnecessary hassle, or an interesting welding project, however you want to see it.
Got the chain guard almost done.
I also have the head badge almost ready to put it on.

Yea I know nothing really exciting, but I added some of the last details. Now I have to decide if I will leave the truss rods raw metal or slap some black on them like the chain guard.

I like the bare metal, but that's just me! This doesn't even look like the same bike as the first pics. Lookin good!

Yeah if your going to trust the rust, you should have some. I thought maybe you were planning to rust up the frame too after i saw that badge.
What would work the best to preserve the bare metal look?
That is a thought I could ad some wear mark areas and rust them up some.
