That was quite a sight for sure!! Thanks to both of you for stopping by for refreshments before the ride the past few weeks!šŸ»

Really turned into a great night for a ride despite the threat of rain.

No question mark the punctuation was a typo

Rode this ā€˜93 Schwinn Hurricane last week after a couple of minor fixes

Beautiful weather here for building and riding, except for our one day of actual real rain here in the desert.

Iā€™m riding this every day.

And Iā€™m still working on it every night, because it is a work in progress. I still have to wire up the lights, and do a decent paint job on it. It wants some kind of small toolbox underneath the seat so I can store a few Allen wrenches etc.

I tried to evoke the spirit of the name being used on a muscle bike in the ā€˜70ā€™s
But I didnā€™t want to stray too much from its MTB roots.

Phuncky! Lovinā€™ it!

The proverbial "monkey, humping a football". That bike holds speed surprisingly well. Wondering if an old MTB frame with similar geo would make a 26" F1 that actually fits me. That notion may be a good idea for a Winter Build-Off Skinny Bike with 1.5s
That looks sooooooo fun šŸ¤©!

I recently took the SHARKRUISER on a meandering parts hunt throughout the depths of downtown Toronto.

Next on the road was the '52 CCM that I adopted in July.
After a recent wheel shuffle in the herd, this old cream puff ended up with my old faithful Shimano 7 speed.

Then a short spin today on this rendition of a 24" Hiawatha Rat that I have put up for adoption with extra baby apes included.

I haven't been riding too much as my hip is acting up but I recently had my TOC out and about. Fun bike. I'm thinking about swapping out my 2 speed kick-back for a Nexus. I'm not sure though, I didn't really want a shifter and cable on this one but the extra gears would help with the hills around here.

I hear you on the kick back and no cablesj. My Schwinn Flat Lander was a 10speed and I laced a coaster brake on that rim. I have a new kickback for it but I found a three speed coaster brake that Iā€™ll lace on instead. Iā€™ll place the shifter on the frame instead of the bars.
