When the photos fool you 😔 I bought this to use for the headlight. Maybe just a wee bit too small ..

Would a second (side by side) fit between the trusses? I mean, if you are having to buy another light regardless... if you like the look, you could run a dual headlight?

First test fit of the assembled fork. Glad I took photos along the way ... It's a little like a puzzle in getting things back together. This will be my only progress for today ... colonoscopy tomorrow and they got me on the juice... No exertion out of fear at this point 😂🤐

Ok, so, the bike is stunning, but, may I ask, what is the wall statue behind it!? That also looks cool!

That wouldn't be a bad idea except I've never seen another light like this one so finding a mate might be rough. I'm contemplating mounting it to the front fender if I can come up with a mount that doesn't look janky. I tend to OCD on the details and at this point, it all has to visually click for me to run with it.

Gorgeous!

There's quite a bit of cool old sign stuff hanging in there. I'm not sure which one you're inquiring about? They're all things we've collected in our "junking" travels.

Decided to use the little French teacup style light and came up with this idea to utilize the holes already in the fender.
First was a sacrificial light that had the bracket I was envisioning.

I then proceeded to drill out the rivets to it's mounting base. IMG20230717174119.jpg
Once I had the bracket removed I used the light shell as a pattern and transferred it to the fender. Masked it off and cut out the slots with a Dremel.

Mounted the bracket up through the fender.

I think it looks pretty clean. I wondered if the frenchy light was too small but it's growing on me.

Well done! 👏👏👏

Clarks match the vibe of the rest of bike.

Looking at the calendar and my commitments, it looks like I will need to finish this up and get my photos taken this weekend.
Next weekend is Ryan Adams at the Masonic and a weekend in Detroit for my daughter's 17th birthday and then off to Fallon, Nevada to see the Navy boy.
