I like the stripes. Does the chain guard get one?

In my head it has one. Didn't have time to puncture the holes in the crepe paper tonight. :D

Even just coloring the rim edge of each hole would be cool.

I probably won't do that with the chain guard since it is so thin, but was thinking about doing that to the speedholes on the rails and bumper. Similar to what I did on the speed holes of my Boxkars shifter on HEXtreme.

The recessed middle of the guard should look good as a swooping scallop

Since my build journal turned another page, I'll drop this pic of the crepe paper paint mockup on this page too.

After staring at the bike more I'm just not feeling this scheme. Got a few other ideas rolling around now.

Does that mean you agree or disagree? :😀
Just tried to imagine you staring at the bike.
But now you're asking, I'm not really sold on the design (but have now better idea either)

Too funny. Yeah that is about what I looked like, but instead of icicles, I had 140% humidity dripping from my head.

Started breaking down the bike with plenty of pics of how each area was put together. I've learned over the years that this can be a lifesaver during reassembly. I won't bore y'all with those pics, but I will definitely reference them.

I did find the mounting plate for my Schwinn Stik Shift. It fits soooo much better than my pipe bracket.

The original kickstand has always felt just a little short. Plus I have always wanted to use this wicked Jiffy kickstand on a bike. Fits great and make the bike sit more even too.

I put the seat back on and took it for a short spin to make sure i had good tire and heal clearance, and to test how well it stood.
This bike is such a blast to ride!!!! Even with the tins off, it's just fun!

I'll break it down the rest of the way tomorrow and start prepping for paint.
