It appears the bell stays stationary while the grip twist like a motorcycle throttle. The grip has a cog that has the dinger and by twisting it spins the dinger out into bell. It's been soaking in 40 for days now.

It is a cw at end. the grip bell is cool but I'm not sure if its missing something or you just flick it with your thumb . That grip won't twist or anything differant?

My friend brought his mothers bike over for us to get rolling again and we would like to know the year if possible. It has a skip tooth and wheel adjusters like a prewar schwinn. Thank you.

Off and on I try to remember what my long gone first bike was. Not sure if anyone would know or tell by my description. Years I know I had it 79 to Probally 82. It was a banana seat bike. Color was a dark green. I know it had a slick on the rear cause I remember my mom buying me red knobby tires...
