Ok everyone... Slight problem on the steel wool regardless of how fine the grades are :) On Spaceliners there is an extremely durable coating of clear coat over the chrome which will damage the coating. Thats the bad news... the good news is that if you want the bike to glow like its original...

It is hard to say what is correct on the Higgins bikes. They mixed a lot of parts around. Im not one to be critical of other peoples bikes or say whats correct or incorrect. So I wont go there unless we PM as there are FAR to many people that are hyper critical :) I will say your fenders...
