Currently re-evaluating whether or not I like you.... (kidding) What a killer bike. I'm very jealous.

'74 Schwinn Breeze Find - NEW PICS update 10/4

Re: '74 Schwinn Breeze Find Hey, the decals are in good shape and that chrome will probably all come back pretty fair. Looks like the reflectors are all present too, should be fun to see how this one cleans up! 8)

    A Couple of Sweethearts

Love finding those Suburbans to take the bow pedals off and use on cruisers. They're a great bike too.

    Questions to the peanut gallery

That particular fork is prone to being bent, but that's not a big deal. A similar looking one was used on some of the prewar Monarks. It was more like a postwar Monark but with a single spring.

    Schwinns for my Nieces

Couple of bikes I completely stripped down (except the kickstand) Clear coated, flushed and polished the bearings and gave new stainless steel chains, repacked, addded mirrors and a basket (to one). Clean as a whistle. The two other of the four girls (triplets and an older sister) one wanted a...

    1980 SCHWINN CRUISER 5

Will the real Steve please stand up? I'm perplexed that this bike doesn't have a blue S seat and blue glitter grips. It's a beauty. Wonder how long it will stay?

Hooray for city wide clean up day!

The chainguard was the one used on the Spitfire, and some of the Flying Star and Tornado bikes but it would have probably had a Spitfire headbage had that been the case. B607 can probably tell you what the frame/model number is. Could have been a "Spitfire" or "Hornet" or who knows as far as...

Hooray for city wide clean up day!

The sprocket on the Sears / Columbia is probably correct for Columbia 5 speed, maybe 3 speed muscle bikes, like the SS3 and SS5. I picked up an Austrian Puch built Sears in the same color today, same decals also. I miss big trash day here in Kansas City, they changed it to an appointment only...

    Dump Find

Poor old girl. Looks like almost a rider, a shame to tear it apart after it came so close to salvation....

    A few more Goodies

The '62 Typhoon is a great bike, not as cool as the Iver Johnson scores, but that bike was my gateway drug and still one of my favorite bikes in my fleet. They only came in Flamboyant Red and Black. F.Red bikes usually bleach out to a sickly magenta color by now, but that one looks good. A...

    1970 Sunbeam - Raliegh

All of the wax brands have one, it's a spray on, wipe off stuff that you can use if the paint doesn't need to be waxed already. The one I used was Meguair's Quick Detailer, but they are all about the same.

    1940's Colson

I think those tires are called "Cordobian" with the ribbed sides. Or "Corniche" or something like that.
