Gotta get the rims and hubs together to figure spoke length, get the spokes and get 'em laced up first.

You sure your pockets are deep enough for a bike like this?

With all that is going on at the moment... I am glad I have not had to hawk my pockets for extra change.... I will do my best to keep up.... Bidders get ready for a fight... :D

Hmmm...those handlebars look quite a bit better than when I had 'em!

Glad you like them! I think they look pretty cool as well! Thanks for the donation! 8)

I just got my shirt in the mail and I can't WAIT to see this bike. It's awesome that everyone is putting all this time and material in for the auction. I'll bid, but it'll be sad if I win!

How is the RRB plate going to mount to rods... ? It really needed to be welded on in my opinion...

Welding isn't a viable option since the plate has been painted and the decals applied. I have some flush surface countersink specialty fasteners that I am planning on using. I will paint the heads white and they will just disappear. ;)

Not a problem. I am sure they will get here Monday. I will need one day with it and I am sure pick will need less than a week. We are still on track to have it done by the 1st.

Yeah Cameron, those small parts should not take long at all! Let me know when you are ready! 8)

Hey don't be too hard on yourself. I know for my builds the wheels take the longest. Forks is easy!

Are we lacking any parts to finish this bad boy? If so, what is needed? 8)

If some kind souls wanted to donate a pair of tubes, a new pair of head set bearings, and new bottom bracket bearings that would cover everything I can think of right now. And if not I can cover the tubes and I have plenty of good used bearings in the drawer.

BTW serial # on the bottom of the BB is: K97386 in case anyone wants to put a year on this frame. I believe it is a CWC, but curious about the year. Any input is appreciated! Cameron??? :?:
