I thought about doing different connecting scallopping like every other dart or something. But this is best. Similar to what I did with VerBoten, but I didn't have to color between the lines with this rubbing UNpainting.

Thanks man, after a few breaks and then going out to dinner, I was ready for the final round of the big rubbing.
After dinner, I went back out to the shop and did the rubbing on the chainguard extension, carrying on the pattern
The last major rubbing was the drive side skirt fin, so I knocked it out too.
Earlier, I cleaned up the end of the tailpipes.
Yeah, this stuff is more structural than sticky. That is why it is so good for mockups.
I am thinking that I may want the handlebars to be primer red, so I sanded them down and painted them earlier.

Your painting ideas are great. I wish some rubbing would make my painting look good. Keep up the good work.
Wet from rain this morning, but there is a chance it will ckear up later. No major paint needs left, so I am going through checklist of small things.

I know that I shouldn't take the time to do it, but I am going to paint the front fork legs and rockers slate blue this morning. I am leaving the rear legs rusty and will put some BLO on them.
It's turning out to be nice and sunny this morning.
Gonna start putting this puzzle together. Luckily I took pics of each items before and during disassembly for just this purpose.

While looking at this assembly, i realized I never made a way to mount the napkin holder heat shield. So I came up with a solution.

Got the BLO on the main fork legs

I would consider putting a coat of BLO over everything, once the paint properly cures. But the deadline may prevent that at this point
Got the Uncle Stretch U.S. headbadge mounted with 3M mounting tape.
Remember to put those rags outside to dry. I've had them off gas
Don't want any drummers spontaneously combusting around here
Got some valve caps ready
