Light and fender, a tight fit. It was quite a task to adjust the fenders to clear the tires, but I really like, how they fill the space there...

The headbadge will confuse most of the bike nuts, as it used to be a hat or helmet emblem. [emoji16][emoji16] I hammered it round and then just glued it in place. Probably should have placed it a bit higher...

I have to go back to work tomorrow, so no more nightly campground wrenching :-(
Trying to stay within the 0 € budget, I will have to sift through my boxes with electronic parts to make my idea for the lighting work..
I'm thinking into the direction of an USB powerbank in the tools box to provide 5V to front and taillight.
Now I just have to dig for that switches and cables...

On Monday school is starting again and with a bit of a surprise I got the benefit of my own classroom (at our school as a specialist teacher you are usually going from classroom to classroom) so I took a bag of parts from the campground home with me as well as the backup frame (all still in the spirit of clearing out my stash...) to make some cool classroom gadgets....

Quick trip to the hardware store...

As I was lacking some fitting screws for chop1 (the stool), I continued with chop2 aka my classroom command center.
I pieced together a first version, which then will be refined over time:

The general idea is to mount the front end of the frame to a wooden or metal angle, take a fork and cut off the legs and then mount the stem and handlebar, so that it's still turntable, but can stand on my desk. If the lights stay on, the will be battery operated....

The first step is to glue in some plugs (they sold them as doorstops) into the tubing:

Chop1 update:
Got my hands on some screws and stole two wheels from my inline skates

No I only have to fab a bracket to fit the front swivel wheel to the bottom bracket. I've got already an idea for that...

Haha, that reminds me of a story.
My machine shop instructor back in high school came out of his office one day acting very mad and and barked out "Henderson! See me in my office!!!" All of the students were wondering what must have happend as the door shut behind me. I sat down across from him waiting for a butt chewing and he calmly asked if I liked a particular type of cake as he slid toward me a slice that his wife had packed in his lunch. We sat and ate cake until it was gone and he asked not to reveal what happened as I returned to the shop! That was a fun class!
