Wow, that's cool Kingfish.

Mine just came today (fast shipping!). It's not a complete hoop but it is vaguely similar to the one you posted. I am going to add stubby bars projecting from the right and left to serve as secondary grips and to mount the shifter. Maybe I'll get time to fool around with it this weekend, or at least mock it up on the bike.

I might consider moving the shifter down onto the frame and make a console shift. That would look cooler, but be more of a pain to shift gears---and I shift a lot.

I had a shaft driven road bike with a 7 speed nexus, I loved that bike!! It rode so smooth! I sold it for a lot more than I got it for, an offer I couldnt refuse. I sure do miss it though!

He's also got them in black. I have a pair on a quad angle.

There are a couple tutorials in building them with spandex and epoxy but I'm a bit lazy for that, especially at this price point.
