Starting with this NOS elevated chain stay frame. Time to bring it to life, to be used for what it was designed. DIRT.
With a bit of scrounging through the parts pile, let's see if I can do this frame justice.

All the bits need a lot of cleaning and polishing to bring em upto standard.
Still missing a bunch odds and sods.
Plenty of time left to find what's needed

Thought this stem was cool, from a donor I picked up.

Stripped down, cleaned up and painted the stem and fork.

I was thinking Yeti teal for the frame. I'm not fully sold on that idea yet, But it definitely needs a cool retro paint job. Open to ideas

I've found out it's a Vortex frame. Made for an Australian bike shop.
I think thumbies is the only way to go. Not a fan of indexed shifters.
I disassembled the spring, sanded up the plastic body and shot it with some satin black. Keeping it simple. It's a weird stem to use, but think it suits such a weird frame.

Think these Dura ace hubs will be a nice fit for the E stay, I'll strip the wheel set down and put the hubs aside

Got some ideas for paint, hopefully I get a chance to make a start on that over the weekend.

I've had my orbo bike from last year on the work stand. Robbed a few parts from it for the Elevated build, it's Going from bmx to klunker.

Now I can get back to the estay
