Cool details. Have you thought about something besides tie wraps for the belt? I thought those were temporary. Maybe even just cover them with leather or fabric.

Details, details, everything in life is temporary. Yah I’ve given it some thought, other than changing the color I don’t have a good replacement. I have some stainless steel ties but they don’t tighten up well. The white shows up a couple of other places so I hadn’t dealt with it.
Thanks for noticing, I often wonder what all the other “viewers” think that choose to remain silent.

I took KF’s suggestion on the Velcro straps. Although I removed the wire ties and added the Velcro 1/2”x8” straps. Maybe they look more finished. Before and after...

There was a 1/4” wide option but they cost twice as much as the 1/2”. I think the 1/4” ones would look better.

Well the many photos posted are much appreciated. This is one of the most bizarre bicycles ever seen in my life, and without this all it would still be such.
