Busy day today!
Worked most of the day straightening the back end this bike was definitely ridden hard and put away wet. A complete time vacuum and pain in the rear, but it is as straight as I can get it. Will require a repaint of the rear fender.
Worked on the front end...
Since Im and anarchist and because in 6"6" I'm reversing some board track bars
Worked on the rear metal and oil box (hard to see here)...
Worked on a new tank...
Now I'm torn between the saddle I'm going to use... The B33 or the B67

I like the 67...the looks of the 33 are too old for era of the rest of the build to me... The front pin spring has always turned me away. But i really like the rear springs on the 33 though! Were did you get your split shaft collars on your bars? I have a bike i want to put those on!

I agree with the 67. The lower profile of it matches the bike better.

I"m thinking about adding this character to the front fender. He might add to the HeX theme... don't know yet. If I do I'll add the headlight above him off the top of the coil springs.
Also thinking about adding these guys to augment the Hex theme...

Tonight was the second tank... took about 4 hours of hand sanding to get it to look like a brushed finish. I'm a lot happier with this version, I really like to see the metal. Protected it with a matte finish... which was another nightmare... the HeX continues.

Wish I had the skills and tools to create such a beautiful tank!
I do mine in fibreglass and is messy and takes forever... keep going!
