Bike is looking great. I think it would be cool if you could route the color dividing line with a thin line and push in some kind of aluminum polished strip. I would do it, but I have absolutely NO wood working skills!

Shot the base color on the tank a few minutes ago.
I tweaked the bracket to get "T" light to fit on the back. Not quite sure if I like it there.

I think the battery compartment works OK.

I also put the headlight on.

After looking at the frame in the sun for a while I'm thinking I'd like to add the tan line to the fender perimeter. I'm not a striper and can't see masking it all.
Does anyone make masking tape with a pullout center section ? Or a vinyl tape that let's you paint the center then remove the mask?

That stuff looks pretty cool and judging from the pics in their "how to", it has been around since the 80s. You could easily sell off the remainder of the roll here.

Took the battery compartment apart, removed the press disc and cut the screw shaft short.

I figured out the wiring, photos will follow later. Good paint day so I painted the cookie press battery holder to match bike.

I then prepped the tank halves and added the Navajo White.

At the present I have a pushbutton switch in the bottom of the canister. This was the quick solution to test wiring and operation. My goal is still to make the screw handle the switch operator. Got to study this awhile, have plenty of time. Want to use the frame as conductor but have two wire system involved at present.
Added Paprika color to tank.
