MADE SOME LEATHER GRIPS USING OLD ROAD BIKE BAR TAPE. DRILLED HOLES IN THE END PLUGS AND SCREWED IN THE REFLECTORS:

Dig your grip creation! I have seen a couple guys coat them in a shellac to keep them looking that way, and protect from wear. It gives a nice vintage sheen too.

OK, rack on the rear. Here's mock-up #3 with the dropstand attached. Rear supports for rack repurposed to hold up the dropstand. Bracket holding front of rack not attached to fender brace yet.

Well, a 'slab' of beer is a box of 24 cans or bottles. We can do that in the Midwest for sure.

Just take a 24 pack or 'box' of cans of your favorite beer, and lay it on it's back. BAM! Slab of beer!

In Canada we keep it simple we call a 24 of beer a two four. We sing songs about them.

Installed the slats and reattached the rack (still need to put some patina on those bolt heads):

Since I dont have a proper tank thought about making something. Cut out a flying porkchop using the front chain ring as a template. Thinking I need to blow it up bigger or make several of them:

CUT A COUPLE DIFFERENT SIZES OF THE FLYING PORKCHOPS, THINK I LIKE THE PROPORTIONS OF THESE.
ALSO TRIED A COUPLE DIFFERENT COLORS, TOP CHOP IS Metallic Dark Metal, BOTTOM CHOP IS Aged Brass.

Went back to the original size flying pork chops. These are cut from 1/4" poplar, painted with Aged Brass. Also inserted one of my cardboard templates into the front sprocket:
