The bull looks killer on there! STP sticker is so classic. Love them polished rims with the patina-d bike. You going to be applying any special sauce to the paint? BLO?

Thanks! I might rub it down with BLO later but no time before the build off ends. Got one last thing to add though!

I'm pretty happy with how this restomod turned out!

As cool as it is, it just seemed like it needed one last thing to give it a little more personality. Something more assertive. The tires and wheels are really the only thing that is a modern upgrade but it still looks pertty conservitive.

I had just enough time to mount the wheels and load the bike along with my drums before a gig at the 'FIRST FRIDAY' downtown street festival last night. I've taken other RRBBO bikes in the past but usually after the build off has ended.

Here's the X53 in front of our sidewalk setup.

My cousin Charlie (the guy that welded the chainguard) was also there in his '35 Ford Cabriolet, so I rode to where it was parked and snapped this shot.

Had several folks asking about the bike and one guy wanting to know where I got the Hoosiers.
