salut a tous ,j’espère que vous allez tous bien? Je ne sais pas encore si je vais pouvoir participer au build 17...Mais j'avais en tête la construction d'un vélo
diggers très marqué 70 ,alors a voir..
A bientôt PAT
Bonjour PAT,
Ce serait formidable de vous faire participer à nouveau à la construction cette année !
Et votre idée de construction semble également intéressante.

I planned to use a reproduction luxury liner frame for the build off but the seller doesn’t seem to be too responsive about packing it well to survive the journey from the USA to Australia.

So today I dug out the remnants of my 98 Trek Classic Cruiser, pulled the fork and compared it to the unused shockmaster fork from my 39 Roadmaster Supreme. I was stoked to find the steerer lengths were identical, fitted it and figured this is the way I’ll go. I used another set of fenders on my 39 r’master and stored the original peaked fenders which have just found a new home.

I like the way the oval top tube on this frame continues pass the seat tube similar to a Columbia as well as the straight down tube. Riding this bike in the past I always found it a little small in the top tube but will use a lay back post for more cockpit room.

I’ve decided on Twrekmaster for the name of the build.

I have several projects to pick from besides “the Tree of Whoa”. The 30s DP harris Flash is on the short list to get Klunked. Have everything for it. If this challenge don’t get started. I may have to start something. Hahaha. Chompin to get on a project.

I've been looking for a wooden boat Kate and I casn take to the lake by my house. I am hoping thuis build off doesn't turn into me trying to shoehorn my yamaha 500 into a skiff that rides on a my 1950 tandem. Plus Ratrodtober is coming up again this year finally, and I wood" like to take a show stopper

YES PLEASE. I've been dreaming of a powered, articulated, canoe on wheels for parades and such. We do a French/Indian war reenactment thing around here and I'd love to put a canoe in the parade.

Carl.

P.S. That blue n red is almost a deal breaker, such a beautiful interior and then slap some house paint on it... reminds me of some bikes I've seen.

Yer I think I could be in, I've got an old maybe Chinese (70s 80s as its got cotter pin crank) knockoff of a crate frame, it's blue with gold glitter sprinkled on it and bondo'ed between the rails, not sure of style yet but will be rough and patina'ed with good chrome wheels.. Maybe

Stretch v1. Nearly 9ft total length, rear swingarm made from earth cruiser front fork. The big shock a take off drop shock from my Harley. Rear wheel is 26" internal hub 3speed. Front wheel a 32" from a Walmart cruiser.
I have a slightly smaller version on the frame jig that my daughter can reach the pedals on. We shall see what it evolves into......

Feeling some pressure now to finish my shed build to be able to start on the bike... :13:
No pressure, my friend. Just a timetable so you can plan out your work for the next....now....10 days and counting!

SheD oN~!

I haven’t built anything for a long while due to lack of space in my rental accommodation, so the likelihood of me participating is slim. BUT… I might… just might… be moving (again). This time, back down south to my home town of Christchurch… and hopefully somewhere to build a bike. Probably not in time for this build off though… :(
