This looks to be a take off on the Atomic Cycles Event Calendar, http://www.atomiccycles.com/event.html This Southern California group has been running coaster brake off road races for years. The bikes are all one speed coaster brake equipped with no front brake. Their videos are great to watch since no one has very good braking and they go very fast over varied terrain. It is not modern downhill type mountain biking that use suspended disc braked bikes. It is very competitive and most people are using older steel klunkers. Have fun with this.

Had a mountainbike ride last Sunday in a town near me.

Open sections are hard with a singlespeed Klunker. Gravelriders are faster, especially in groups!

It was a blast!

I managed a quite fast average and could keep up with quick groups.

Funny to observe the riders styles. I personally prefer technical sections, bunnyhopping over trees and even short climbs. But some seem quite scared there, while they are waaay faster on the gravel- and gras- flat sections.

That’s awesome 😎

I built this for a class 2 or maybe off-road build off a few years ago. My son loves it, but man he’s hard on it. Love that it gets used but it’s now on fork 3
Wow, he's riding HARD! That's scary, a little more bend on the fork, and it'd be teeth you are replacing! Hopefully the new one holds up.
