2004 Electra Rat Rod. Dumped the miserable factory springer for a rigid fork. It is no wonder Electra did the same on the 2005 model. The bike is so much faster and easier to ride.

If the Duck is my only bike, he's getting put back on trail duties. Little bit of testing to see if he's still up for it

We could still use some more rear tread, it's super easy to lock that coaster brake up. Dirt/gravel path with a bunch of ruts from runoff, but especially slippery in wet grass

This weekend was "VELO-Berlin" a big bike fair on the Tempelhof airfield. I spent about two hours there yesterday and half of the Sunday.
For the way there it took part in the "Radparade" together with about 600 others. Can you spot my ride?

Underway I spotted this special ride

There were also some TweedRiders

And the whole thing was accompanied by the bike police

At Tempelhof airfield I took my time to enjoy the view of all the beautiful, weird or practical rides. Here are some of them:

A rear stear cargo bike and a took it for a test ride. Let's say it takes a very steep learning curve if you wanna go fast on this...

Speaking of fast. This thing is a real rocket:

I enjoyed it as a driver and a passenger...

And at last I tried the Omnium (without E-assist) and decided that going classical is more my thing than all this modern fancy stuff.
Here's the cockpit view

But there was also some nice and quirky bike art on display

All in all I had a very intense and relaxing day...

65 miles on the Ritchey again (I'll spare you another picture) this past Saturday. Then 37 on the Marinoni on Sunday. 102 mile weekend! ... uncharacteristic for me. I'm feeling pretty good lately. I think the lyme disease is behind me.

Beautiful Autumn day for a ride on the Freeliner, formerly a 1936 BF Goodrich Streamliner. It’s as light as my 2021 SE Fast Ripper (14kg), almost as fast and just as much fun.

For our Canadian mates. A ship name Vancouver but likely from Asia.

I lightened up Chrome Molly with lighter rims and alloy cranks, and added my favorite, SRAM 2 speed Automatix. Took a ride today and it shifts right when I need it, using a 39/22 gearing. Mainly to drop into low to get up the incline. I have a phone mount now instead of riding one handed to get a vid.

I rode my Kustom Kruiser Roadster for week 2 of Longmont Bike Night last night. Fortunately the clouds cleared if thunderstorms about half hour prior for a lovely evening for a ride. Attendance was a bit low at 74 due to the earlier storm.

It was fun seeing my friend enjoying her old bike that I recently resurrected for her! She finds new things she likes about it every time out & that makes me smile.🤓

I wore a nightshirt, cowboy hat & slippers. Some of my friends said I looked like I escaped a mental institution. A couple said I won Pajama Night. Perfect!:113:
