tested the 520 with full panniers last night in the neighborhood. I recently put wider FSA Adventure bars on it. They are nice. It's very stable.

Tomorrow, I and two buds will ride the Airline Trail about 50 miles to a campground. We'll hike and bike there Saturday, and ride home Sunday. No running water this early in the year at the campground! Roughing it!

anyway, the top of the rack will have a sleeping pad and tent poles on it. I'm going to weigh it tonight.

As for the Duck, he's 26x26, that was just a trick of the camera angle.
Beautiful river that St. Lawrence is, in Arizona we have reservoirs and of course the Colorado river........................yer bike is cool!!!

As my car gave up on me yesterday and had to be towed to the workshop with my second BO donor bike in the trunk, I went there with my trailer and brought the bike home with pure pedal power...
All loaded up and ready to go:

The weather and the roads were a bit wet...

But the 10km roundtrip was worth the effort...

Camping this weekend.. we roughed it a bit. There was no running water this early in the season. We brought filters and bathed in the stream.

Believe it or not, I DO have old bikes. 🤪 I rode my Elgin Moto yesterday with a bunch of friends during the monthly Old Bikes Club ride.

Rolling out...

Rocky Mountain Hammer Race today on this trail not far from my home plus a generous amount of gravel roads with a sprinkling of pavement. This bike is so much fun. Previous owner broke the rear deraileur and twisred the chain and then offered it for sale at $20 Cdn. When I spotted the advert, I thought "I think I can fix that" lol.
