Bicycles saved me while sitting behind multiple monitors for 26 years for 8-12 hours a day when working. Diet became a factor after hitting my mid-40's.

The older I get, the more sedentary I get. I love building them but I ride less every year. I need to change that for sure.
So I’m out for my morning ride. Here’s a photo of my adult play equipment.

Ditto. I spend too much time working on the houses and trucks. I need to get to the point where I'm comfortable hiring some things out and not insisting on doing everything myself. Then I should have more time to build and ride my bikes.

Took papa's ride out for a ride around the neighborhood to see if there was any bad damage from Ian. Nothing too bad mainly downed limbs.
We've been getting onshore winds all day as Ian starts to make it's way North. That wind must have kept the water from the Savannah River from flowing as much out to sea from. This is as high as I have seen the river since hurricane Irma years ago. Winds are supposed to increasing overnight with gusts as high as 50mph I believe. Luckily for us, the track continues to shift more and more towards Charleston and beyond. The winds felt like they were gusting in the 30s on my ride.

I made it out late yesterday afternoon on my '38 Western Flyer after mounting a crusty Delta Silveray to the front fender. 
A beautiful day for a ride after starting out cool & wet. I really like riding this bike. Silent & smooth.....

On Saturday, we did a Baker's Tank (Boreas Pass) to Breckenridge (CO) ride. Started in the snow...went through the mud...and finished in the balmy low 60°s.
Baker's Tank at left (~10,800ft elev)...
Youngest daughter...

Four legged friends, weird combo of two males, a female and a juvenile...
Same bull a little later on a different trail that dead ended after an I'll advised detour that went no where.
All the back tracking we did in this section resulted in several different views of the moose. This guy was a genuinely large moose. We were within 30 yds while he was bedded down and had to pass him twice at this distance due to, though this was the 'right' trail...it was blocked and fenced ~300yds further up by a private owner. After exploring a few possibilities, we had to finish the ride on pavement.
I'll add the bikes later as this is supposed to be a what you rode, not a where you rode, thread.

This is certainly a beautiful time of year to explore the high country as long as you're prepared to strip/add layers throughout the day! Enjoy!!

Not always. I've had to pedal away from a few in more remote areas where they see fewer humanoids.
