A work in progress, but laying down a silver base. Metallic green to follow.
That was my thoughts too. Both STP and the cool paint fade!and here I am thinking ‘STP’ meant Stone Temple Pilots, sorry, my ‘grunge’ is showing….
But more importantly, that paint is looking good bud!

It really was great. They would get in some cool vintage (for sale) pretty often as well. They also sold fairtrade chocolate (thus the name), and Gregory was known for wearing a bowtie as his signature look (the 'tie in' on the badge). I bought this 24" bare metal Sears there. Wish I had kept it. It was really slick (tank shroud/scoop was solid chrome, not plastic) and rode super smooth.Cool story and really cool badge. Sounds like a shop I would have enjoyed visiting.
BobbyStillz, do you think we need (or others may want) a separate thread of past/present bike shops we knew about or visited? I am not sure how to relocate this thread to a new location.....Admin help? .....It really was great. They would get in some cool vintage (for sale) pretty often as well. Sure, I'm down. There probably is one on here somewhere. Was a nice bit of reminiscence as I was working on my build.BobbyStillz, do you think we need (or others may want) a separate thread of past/present bike shops we knew about or visited? Thanks man! I am pretty stoked about it.Looks AWESOME! Paint came out great.
It has a flake in it! I will get a better pic of it in the sunlight so it can be seen. My indoor lighting is less than ideal. On the green you could have used green glitter. Just blow a little around onto the wet paint. I have a whole bag of green flake, but at the end of a spray, if I want more bling.View attachment 235585
