Filed out the springer trusses so that they would fit over the modern axle.
I'm not 100% on it, but the muscle bike chain guard actually flows with the tank rather nicely. Plus if you angled the back up a little more, it could run parallel to the down tube and chain stays. Plus it's not so big that it's distracting. I think it's got potential!Pulled FOOLIGAN out to work on some of the mechanicals today, but tested a couple of other chainguards.

I think that's the one!I tried another potential chainguard that I got from a 1960s Evans Interceptor.
I think it plays well with the tank and springer. It's also a good length and shape for the frame too.

Cool! Almost had this going on.Finally broke out the bearings and grease and assembled the fork properly. Trusses fit fine too.
The fork looks so much better without that bulky light/horn bracket anymore.
