Oooh! Yeah, that's gonna look phenomenal.

One of the two rear wheels is together. Still need to punch and drill the other one.

That EL wire is gonna be slick!!!
And the width and spoke pattern on the rear is awesome!!!!

Thank You @kingfish254 I appreciate it.

I wish i had time to explore all thats going on on all the cool builds. Harder to focus on anything at all these days..

Edit...

I did do this today. Can't focus much on complex, but this was simpler. For wheel 2.

Sorry for your loss. Hope the bike work takes your mind off of things.

I've only cried harder a couple of times in my life other than the day our Dusty crossed over. Cherish the years you had together.

Looks like you are making progress on the wheel lacing. That is one monumental task!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My little guy has turned a corner and is
beginning to show his years now. The Vet said it best, "The onus is on us,
because we know what is happening." Sigh, yeah. It socks. 🥺
I am loving this build, so keep up with the great work. 👍
Thank You I appreciate it. I hope your little.guy makes it way longer than anyone could expect.

She was a best friend for a short time in our lives and we were her best friends for all of hers...

I resemble this as well. With honey we had more years than with any of our other Dane's in the past. She was blind for the last 5 years. She could see for the other 6-1/2 when she was younger. Such a great dog.

That monumental task is done. Glad for that the thumb arthritis surgery in the fall. Was able to complete without being in hand pain for days afterwards.

It seems the 3 meter lights are long enuff for one side on the wheel. So I ordered two more. Will end up splicing the plug into a single per wheel. Maybe replace with an 18650 if the EL can handle it.

With a tire on the 26x5s the result is almost as tall as the 29x3s.

That’s what I tell my wife when she yells at me for spoiling the boys. We are their whole world for their whole life. Treat them as such

Chin up friend ❤️

Love the wheels. Love the light wire. Love the Purple Haze

Thank You for the smile today captain, you are awesome. I recall similar conversations about my kids years ago.

Oh, man, I’m sorry to hear about Honey. For us the puppy dogs are nearly like kids. They bring so much joy.
Thank You Pondo. You are right. After the kids left home, the dogs are the substitute and mean so much to the heart and soul. Lots of joy while they are here. 💙
Those wheels are flippin’ amazing, wow!
Thank You! Glad you like them and I'm Glad they turned out so well.

Thank You. Glad you like them. They turned out better than planmed.

The pics dont show it very well, but the EL wire is purple also, not blue. I picked the wire anticipating the fade.

Rained this afternoon. Left the temp around 39C with 20% humidity. Reminded me of a balmy afternoon in the Colorado summer... still prefer 39C to 39F..

My welding skills I have no excuse for, other than 'self taught'. It gets the job done but requires grinding and sanding... That's for tomorrow.

Will keep an eye on them after painted for cracks, but should hold just fine.

So sorry to hear about the doggy. She looks like a real sweetie. Sad they only live so long.

When our Collie passed at the vet this big goofy dog came up to us and got in our face. The owner told us it was a Russian Wolf hound so we got one as our next dog. He’s about 10 already.

Those wheels are over the top! So cool. Love that paired spoke pattern. Great progress. Looks like you’re getting close.

Sweety was one of her nick names. She was our dirty princess because she always found a spot in the dirt to dig out and make her own. Mad at me every time we planted grass anywhere in the back yard for taking her spot.. hehehe

Russian Wolfhounds are giant breed as well? Big dogs rule!! 🐕 They cost more to keep but are worth it.

Thank You. Hoping to finish before the deadline. Barring unforseen things, the magic 8ball says chances are good.
