I suppose I hadn't thought of this before, but since I'm doing a bike build, and I'm not planning on cutting the frame, that makes me eligible for the RRBBOIV!

What better way to christen my first rat bike build, than enter it? No gaurantees, but if it's close to the deadline, and I'm close to finishing it... Whoo! I'll wait till I have more parts before I "officially" enter.

really stoked about entering the build off this year, as it will be my first attempt in this forum. i've built like 4 bikes that woulda been great for this build off in the last 6months alone. just wondering, when it said can't use complete bikes, that just meant finished bikes, not something im gonna tear down to metal and overhaul. right?

how stock a bike is to start is not really what the rules mean. basicly it is to stop the folks who already have a bike done then decide to enter it. thats why you see a few of the bikes that were already done then torn down and changed to be entered that is legal. my bike started as a frame, thats it no fork, no nothing everything has been pieced together from there. it is just how i do things.

typically if you are starting with a sorta done bike you have to change it from what it looked like. this normally means rip it down repaint it and build it differently than it was before. it is a bit of a grey area but it sounds like you have a lot in mind so have fun with it

i forgot about the build off discussion thread. it just took me 20 minutes bring myself up to speed

with all this great stuff comin' together i think i should throw in the towel
nah, i aint gonna do that. i aint a quitter.
i am gonna kick it into hi-gear and try to finish up in the next week. definatly before fathers day.
i had some neat custom ideas i wanted to try, but they'll have to wait for another bike build.
i need to finish this and make room for another motor-pickle project that i may get next week :D

great work everyone.

outlaw is gonna win anyways (at least thats what i say so i dont get whacked)

And I get to display his bike!

haha, you guys are way tooooo funny. nope, i won't win. not important to me, BUT, one of the Lady's will.lol. one thing i can say, all the bikes are coming together very well. we have alot of talant here. all i do is just talk alittle smack to keep all of us on track. i hope i'll be able to finnish this bike,i don't get much time to work on it am i am still in the beginning of mock up. oh well we'll see. it's fun none the less.
