Today I tried to come up with a plan for how to build in lights, horns and siren (no sound system for now, as this thing is getting to heavy).
I'll use a motorcycle battery as power supply and will build a compartment behind the front wall that provides a stable storage for the battery and covers up the electronics.

Also the back will get an additional straight inside cover to close off the backside of the taillights.
And I also made up my mind about the positioning of the taillights.
Obligatory CAD mock-up:

And here with the lights:

First thing this morning I drilled some holes and it looks like I built myself a mouse... 🤔😎

At the back a little change of plan took place, as I realized that mounting the lights in line looks better.

Next I will have to handle the problem of mounting something flat and unbendable on a rounded surface...

I wonder if we manage to eat up all the marmelade we produce from our garden until next summer...
At the moment we are cooking almost every second or third evening a batch like this and are running out of storage space already. But I must say it's so much better than the stuff you buy in the store!

But at least I managed to buy some supplies to finish up the trunk and sunday or monday we will be heading to the campground, so the trike will make serious progress then!
