Looks great out in the light . I didn't notice the legs on the rack that cool . Never was really a cycle truck fan , until now this one in a league of its own . Nice work [emoji1303][emoji1303]
Thank you guys!Just awesome!
Luke.
Yeah, it really did come together. The only thing I would change is the horn. Somehow it just doesn't fit the rest of this really 'tight' build.
I'm thinking some kind of an 'air horn' would be appropriate for this 'truck'....
Wow.
VERY nicely done! I said it before, but it really looks like something you would find in an upscale bike shop.
I was reluctant to bring it up, but since OJ said it first, I was also thinking that the horn seems out of place with the modern look and feel you've got going on. I'm thinking some classy looking bell would be nice.
Another possibility would be the brake levers that I used on my bike last year that has the bell integrated into it.
on my ride today i had to honk Many time for people to get out the way , a bell would not cut it ..
the ride went well crossing the city today. carried a small load ,beers, lunch, icepacks, tools and picked up a 6foot 2x4'' i found on my way back .. cant pass free materials
Thanks Chad .. indeed , they took a step back when they saw what was commingI'll bet they got out of the way when they turned around and saw this rig closing in.
Already trash pickin' with it. That's some great functionality there. Still can't believe you made a cycle truck look so good. You would have a hard tome convincing me that was home made if I hadn't seen the build. Very well done!
well its my first try at making a bike , i take it good considering all the other things that could of gone wrong attemting this , i consider it as ''not that big of a deal'' , glad i catch it before making a other haulYou're taking this much better than I would've! I'm sure that you'll work it out.
Great idea!I wonder if you could find a set of sealed bearing that will fit the cups ? It will make the steering smoother & tighter and should add some extra strength because it will take up some play between the cups & tube .
I did this on a klunker I built the cups were very thick & the bearings were just a hair to big so I ground down the cups a little with a die grinder and it worked great ! O so smooth too [emoji232]Great idea!
What would be great too (if i had acess to a metal lathe) is if a could make a supper strong bearing cup that fit ''over and in it'' the head tube like a sandwish
