I have never used that style hub, but have run into a few situations where the inner cable has ferrules in both ends making it impossible to replace the outer cable. My current build off bike has that issue with the brakes. I believe the Shimano positron also has that issue.

Are you sure you are getting a good measurement? Looks like the caliper is not on the carved end. 13/16" = 20.7 mm

This fits a Schwinn, 13/16"... with 7/8" top.

I think you’re right !!! There’s the post part, then like a sleeve it goes into.

I measured the diameter of the sleeve with the post in it, and I think you’re right!

-I’m sure I have an old Schwinn seat post here somewhere…. Would that be a good test before buying?

My measurement looks super close, BUT, it’s like a $9 tool…..

Paint is looking good and love the new bars.
Just get a little bit done every day that you can.

Desperation sinking in…..

I spent yesterday at work n family functions, Sunday with Syracuse Classic Bikes at the Syracuse Nationals.

I have a retreat next weekend, celebration of life 3 states away the next.

Will put on the full court press, but I’d rather do this right and not complete vs. cobble the thing together to meet the deadline.

Got a little done this evening.
