Went to an employee appreciation dinner tonight. Came home and drilled some holes for the U-bolts that I've decided to use to hold the front end up, kinda gasser style. Next step will be to weld the tubing the axle will go thru to the U-bolts. No pictures means it didn't happen yet...lol but I have begun to contemplate super detailing and doodads.

I've got the winch rigging done and mounted, the front end sorted out and I think I'll be recycling ALiEN FiRE'S shifter. He's ready for it. Motor is next...

Your last model bash inspired me to make something of my dead friends broken nick nack. Seems how he died of an unnatural b.a.l. of 4.7 I decided not to fix the old Impy up but rather add to the alcohol induced destruction.

Hey, @mikeeebikey , can you use this as a starting point to 'bash' together another kit and join us in this build challenge? Maybe a King Kong or Godzilla to add to the bashing?

As I "inherited" his mash induced smash! I was thinking of making it "roll overed" since the die-cast are tough to bend a little! But your Godzilla stomp is a fantastic idea!

Our weather has officially turned with a low this morning in the 20's F. So , I spent some time yesterday before the tricksters arrived, pretty much finishing up my build.

It doesn't mean I won't have updates, and I'm still planning a diorama for the background when it comes to final photo time. Also, with my partial 'outhouse' theme, a related pun or two might inspire future posts.

Not only does Huey travel around in a lifted pick up 'camper style outhouse, but he brews his own 'shine on the side. What better for an empty clay jug to use for a sh**ter, er shifter.

You might have also noticed the plunger mounted to the side of his spiffy biffy. Seems a bit odd, for an outhouse right? Stay tuned....

I spent my electronics budget on a camera drone instead the parts I needed for this. So I'm probably out for this round.

Got the shifter mounted. +1 if you can recognize what I used (hint: it's not ALiEN FiRE'S shifter but it is just like it.) The pilot also got wired and a bunch of little details were added like chains on the gantry...

Cramped Coupé

I think I have a name, and a theme. Going to try sculpting my own undead rendition of Lux Interior to (over) fill the driver compartment of this injected, Hemi-fied T coupe.
