Was planning on using earth magnets to attach the 'W' to the top plate...but the stainless steel isn't magnetic 😔

I considered mounting these shelf clips to hold it, but the positioning would be off.

Experimented with a suction cup, but not sure how long it would hold on a ride.

So I put rubber washers top and bottom and ran the bolt through. Leaving this as inspiration, for now, but will fabricate a low profile hanger, in similar fashion to a plate hanger without springs.

It can be used as a bottle opener, so I want to be able to detach and re-attach it with some ease.
You just need stronger rare earth magnets. Put one on the Wu and another underneath that stamped top plate.

Strong enough that the two are virtually inseparable by themselves but the top tree can be a buffer to temper the magnetism

We use a hidden attachment similar to that in one of our customers parts. The hidden magnet is just held in place with CA glue

The plate is magnetic, the 'W' is not.

Maybe if you were able to cut the Coupling down a bit to about
four threads. This would tighten up the space a bit. Also keep up
with the attempts to re-thread of the mic heads. Almost there.
And if you're unsure about the work and fitment, consider the low strength thread lock.
Help keep them from accidentally twisting off from vibration.

Are they thick enough, turn them into tire valve caps?

Not quite. However, I do have some valve caps already planned. These charms are metal, and I have a couple ideas rattling around. Sometimes, you don't know what 'jewlery' to wear until the 'outfit' is complete. We shall see...

I had planned on using these as valve caps on a previous build. However,I went a different direction on that build, so I will try these again for my current build.

Tried flaring upward to start. I like it, but don't love it.

So I pulled the angle down a bit. This is good. I think I'll call that done (fitment-wise).
