Probably going to see all 3 categories this winter. Just ironing out the details over these next few weeksIt appears I missed the window to vote.
I did not notice...Did anyone notice the frame he used to build a bike to aerate his lawn?
CWC 'Y' frame.......?
So swoopy.......
Lol I was planning on doing a skinny build on 26x1.75 tires!!I like my tires my like my crust. . . thin.
Thin's my middle name.
Been there done that with two classes... But I think a guy could very easily build a bike that could fit into all three classes with 3 wheel sets and 1 or 2 saddle / handlebar combos. @MattiThundrrr 's CCM frame or Schwinn camelback or cantilever frames could manage different wheel sets with little issues BUT just cuz you can do something doesn't mean you should. In the end you can only enter each bike in one category so any crossover will be just for rule bending fun
Hmmm............sounds like chaos to me
My muscle build has a classic diamond frame and it's 6 speed. Does that count? Here's a challenge...
Use your 10 speed frame in the muscle bike class, your muscle bike frame in the off road class and your mountain bike frame in the skinny class....

A convertible bike could be really cool. I had originally intended to have 2 looks for Bonefish to fit it in two classes. I wanted a bent fork raked out far, apes, and a skinny tire on a mag for the muscle class, with a straight leg fork, kneesaver bars, and matched wheelset for the BMX class. I couldn't failed on multiple attempts to bend the fork, so it didn't happen, I didn't even get one version finished in that contest. But I think a guy could very easily build a bike that could fit into all three classes with 3 wheel sets and 1 or 2 saddle / handlebar combos
All of my brakeless fixed gear bikes are convertible to at least three modes (road, fast townie, and gravel) with simple stem/bar and/or tire swaps.A convertible bike could be really cool.
Proper F1 = disc rear wheel IMHOAll of my brakeless fixed gear bikes are convertible to at least three modes (road, fast townie, and gravel) with simple stem/bar and/or tire swaps.
Inspired by the F1 @Palepainter let me ride Wednesday, I finally figured out what to do with a small/med forward-sloping top tube Mongoose Rockadile frame that's been in my shed for about ten years. Looks like I'll be in for a 1x5/6 F1 style Skinny with 26x1.5 treads.
Agreed, time for some thin sheet HDPE. I may even use those old plastics shop skills to fab/form an acrylic fairing.Proper F1 = disc rear wheel IMHO

Harnessing the butterfly effect! Big changes are coming.......I needed to go see if a magnet will stick to my Nishiki frame. I was hoping it wasn't alloy, as I'm not able to weld alloy with the rig I have.
