Put the fork back on for the first time since completing the scoop shroud. It really flows nicely with the Evanaction. The shroud grill ridges marry well with the for springs and wing ribs.

You can barely tell because the fenders are black, but I mocked them up on the front as well. There won't be any part of the fender extending into the springer area because I have always felt it takes away from the uniqueness to the fork. Just like the rear fender the duck tail end will be about 2" above the ground.

And I am also pretty sure that I am going to use this chainguard.

Looks good, definitely like the rear fender. Not sure about the chain guard tho, will have to look at it a few more times. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Found this pic of a restored twin bar on the interwebs....I think the chainguard you have will work nicely.

Any thoughts of running dark red/maroon fenders/skirts? That red/dark red is a very popular vintage bicycle/motorcycle/car look..
Just tryin' to kick up dust....[emoji12]

I go back and forth on the guard. I know it's a good style for the bike, but sometimes I don't want to hide the BB shroud or take up any of the frame void space. I just think it's going to help tie the flipped skirts in with the flow of the bike.

I like the idea of the dark red/maroon contrast with a red frame. I have tried most other colors that I had on hand, but I don't think I have a maroon. My other paint test fender has 7 stripes of color on it. You can see it in the back of this pick.

I don't like the blue red mix, but I do really like this wildflower blue for some future bike.

Here is primer red (which is really brown) with the red. I don't like this pairing either, but it is the closest I came to testing a red+maroon pair.

That open frame is so cool,,
Personally, I would go fenderless.
Of course, I'm just an old hot rodder.
That is actually still an option. I really haven't mocked the fenders outside yet. But also as I said before mocking black fenders is kinda useless anyway. I'll have to get some color on there.
Meanwhile, back in the shop......

Them are some snazzy new shoes! Like the way you can see the rim/tire through the slats in the skirt. Chain guard ties in nicely...goes with the flow...
