Soup can piece works but the headbadge looks out of place. Lots of ideas cooking there, good mojo.

Nicely done! The can blends perfectly, can't wait to see it painted.

Thanks, It really came out better than I could have imagined. Haven't even begun to think about paint on this piece.

That skirt those curved braces, the rear wheel is looking like an art deco fan...awesome.

The soup can turned out great, glad you're not covering it up.

"Art deco fan" - I like it. Yeah, I am moving forward with the curved braces and bottom skirt.
I'll make the paint pull it together like Captain and Tennille :p:rockout:

HAHAHAHA. AWESOME

I was kinda thinking that too looking at the photos. Maybe I could string up some fine fishing line where the seat tube would be and have the headbadge floating in the void.

EDIT: I might come up with another idea for the headbadge, but I like the grill look of the ribbed soup can too much to cover it up with even a cool badge like this one.
I agree that chicken soup grill is to nice to cover up.:)

Wow you're a busy bee..:D Best use of a soup can I've seen.

I also like the look of the wire braces but looks like you got something good cooking with the tubular curved ones. I think the spacing being exactly even between each brace and the seat stay will be critical on those.
Agreed

Ta Da ! :)

Also when I was playing around yesterday, I came up with a modification to my top tube grill idea. A spinning turbine grill.

Playing around with a few things the past couple of nights.
The teardrop pedals are narrower ladies pedals and I have these Person Supreme blocks that I would like to use but I have to find some donor pedals that I can steal the center section from first.

Installed the headtube shroud and have the hood scoop bracket cut. Just have to drill and tap some holes in the headtube.

I never did test a rear fender on here yet, so I had these peaked CWCs handy. The curved braces work well with the skirt curve. Only problem is it's not quite wide enough for the tire. I may see if I have some fatter fenders to try.

That fender looks tight! And I mean as in, "Looks tight." Great look on your build KF!

I like the idea of the spinning grill between the top tubes, here's to hoping you never slip off the seat while it's spinning.:(:blackeye::20:

I have wanted red wheels with whitewalls on this build and I have never had a kickback 2 speed, so I just ordered a set of 3G 57mm checkerboard kickback wheels in red from the RRB Store.

My LBS had a set with tires for sale, except they were the blue, and they were AWESOME looking, good choice
Think you might do an alternate rim tape color??
