I keep thinking red led's when I see this honeycomb tank .
I used clear plastic holders with adhesive backed mounting tape already integrated into the holder. Bought them at Office Depot for pretty cheap. Designed to be used as card holders. This was on the RaTs GaSs build last year.

On the Shelby Woody Flyer, I mounted the clear tank 'window' panel with mini blind hold down brackets. But I had the woody panel to insert a screw into on the bottom, and I think I used two-sided 3M pad tape for the top.

Now that I look at it, I think the Woody window was just mounted from two points on the bottom. Don't have any close-ups. I wasn't taking 1000 photos of my bike at that time~! Haha!
What if you used plexi as protection on top of the honeycomb?I considered thin plexiglass for the meat with leds lighting it up, but I don't want the bulk of wiring and power.

Would probably also make it easier to mount the complete
You are probably right one that...But I feel it would add a reflective layer that would damper the beehive effect.
I would say: Go for it!Time to focus on the task at hand, but I just had a killer distraction. There was a scrap piece of honeycomb near the sprocket and a light bulb went off in my head. I just had to run with it and do a simple partial mockup.
