CUSTOM SCHWINN CRUISER

Just finished this Schwinn Cruiser this week. Had a spare frame and fork set that I took over to Jacob of Ideal Coatings last weekend and he powder coated it candy blue for me. I ended up using the wheel set I had built up which had the Sturmey Archer 3 speed rear drum hub and the front drum hub laced to a set of Schwinn S-2 wheels. Installed a set of Fat Frank tires for a smooth ride.

I'm running a set of Al's Rapid Transit cruiser bars and a True Torch stem along with AME grips. The saddle is a leather Felt springer with a chro-mo layback seat post. Bikes rides super smooth and quiet.

Yes...I've found great satisfaction in handing someone a lousy looking frame, fork and chainguard and 24 hours later handing someone $100 for a beautiful one.

toobad, it looks like a nice piece...

i tried to buy one after you posted this build and it turned into a joke.
they sent me other customer's tracking numbers, couldnt get a hold of anyone there for anything, and after 2 months i got my money back.
