I think the problem could be your rear dropout extensions might be flexing when you ride and causing the chain to pop off. They just don't look strong enough to me. I think you would have better luck if you could find another brake pad like you were using in the mockup. That looked much stronger and I liked the look of it better. By the way the bike looks great even though I was kinda diggin it without the paint. Very cool build either way and it is great to see someone your age that appreciates old bikes.

One advantage of living in a rich neiborhood... No rich kid would even think to steal a ratrod mabye a haro or specialized.....snydur said:wll i rode it. hahah. alot of kids were asking question, and im racing it on friday against restored schwinn. two laps on the track. ive got a techer friend who likes bikes, and hes letting me keep it in his room after what happened to the last one. he said he doesnt mind cause it turned out great. sun light pictures in afew min.
